VSO has been a tradition for nearly two decades in the Washington, DC Area.  Started by Craig Hutchinson, this event has always been flavored with a variety of Swing styles. West Coast, Hustle, and Hand Dance have always had a home at VSO.  Your event director is Barry Durand who produces the Swing Fling and Easterns events.

THE NEW FORMAT THIS YEAR IS EXCITING.  THE FOCUS IS ON
PRO AM, STRICTLY, AND JACK & JILL CONTESTS AND EVEN MORE SOCIAL DANCING!  THIS YEAR - YOU ARE THE STARS! 

VSO is running strong this year at a great hotel - the Hilton Washington Dulles Airport which has excellent space, easy access, and for those flying in, its right near the airport! Fly into Washington Dulles Airport.  This year we have a new specially reduced rate of $80 per night.  There are very limited rooms at this discounted rate so make reservations early!

Come in early on Thursday night for a pre-event dance party.  Then plan to take workshops, watch competition and dance, dance, dance.  Friday night will feature 3 huge dance floors with West Coast Swing in the Main Ballroom, Hustle in the Hustle room , plus the famous Lobby Dance Floor.  Some Pro Am is Friday night as well as some other hot competition.   Saturday during the day will be Pro-Am Competition and plenty of workshops.  Saturday night will feature more Pro Am and Strictly plus other divisions.  The main ballroom will be jamming with West Coast & Hustle and the lobby with a hot mix.  Sunday features the finals Jack & Jill competition, team challenge and more. It will be a FUN weekend of your favorite hobby - Dance!
